Braiding Sweetgrass - Robin Wall Kimmerer. A stunning recount of the authors life and the impacts that her Indigenous culture have had on it. A beautiful mix of science, Indigenous wisom and precious memories. This book featured in one of past boxes too!
No One is Too Small to Make a Difference - Great Thunberg. A pocket sized pick me up of Thunberg's speeches across her tour of the world.
Burnt - Chris Saltmarsh. Part of Pluto Press's Outspoken series (which I adore), Burnt reviews how we have got to our planet's current sorry state and urges action as a result. Another great manifesto for change.
All We Can Save - Ayana Elizabeth Johnson and Katharine K. Wilkinson. A beautiful anthology comprising of the writing of 60 women who stand strong on the barracks of the fight. Empowering messages with so many different voices, a pleasure to read.
This Changes Everything - Naomi Klein. The perfect read to capture the true battle here: capitalism vs. the climate. Myths debunked and truths exposed, an intoxicating read.
As Long As Grass Grows - Dina Gilio-Whitaker. A must read for anyone wantign to learn about the colonisation of idigenous culture and the events at standing rock.
Emergent Strategy - Adrienne Maree Brown. A more emotional look into climate change, Brown asks us to understand the changes we are are being asked to make. Enlightening!
This is Not a Drill - Extinction Rebellion. Another pocket size find, this is activist group Extinction Rebellion's manifesto. Punchy and powerful.
