Personal Thoughts:
Like my thoughts on Crying in H Mart, it would be unjust to review this book in the same way I would a fiction because these are the stories of real people, with real joy and trauma.
This collection of stories feels almost invasive reading, like you’re the fly on the wall listening to someone tell their story to a close friend. But the book is there to be read and they’re told with such compassion and beauty that I urge you to pick this up.
It’s freeing to read that so many have found sexual peace and happiness with themselves, sometimes after traumatic pasts. But equally there are dark stories and can be heart breaking in places.
Would I read it again? Definitely, it was certainly a lesson in the broad range of sexual spectrums we humans possess.
