This month's box is asking you to give yourself to headspace to love you for you, just as you are. Allow yourself to notice and appreciate all of those wonderful moments around you.
Open Water is a powerful fiction from debut Caleb Azumah Nelson, recently released in paperback. This book has won so many awards already and I'm so excited to bring it to you as part of this box. The writing is powerful and impacting, it's a story of love and desperation and knowing centring on the Black Experience. Like no other book you've read, it's absolutely one of a kind. The book centres a lot in thoughts of our protagonists and keeping with that theme I wanted to add some gifts to this box that would hopefully make you smile and keep you going. The painted pebble by McFloof Makes is to remind you that you do indeed matter, whatever those voices in your head say.
Also included are some beautifully bright and positive from Love To Doodle, who you may remember from our gorgeous Christmas wrapping last year. Stick them on your wall, at you desk or scribble a note to a loved one to remind them of the goodness in the world.
The tea this one could be no other than Bird & Blend's Birthday Cake! Please be aware this one contains almonds! If you suffer from a nut allergy I'll happily swap it out for another tea.
